2021-22 Dancero Team end of year banquet, April 2022
Purpose
H.B. Plant High School and the Danceros are full of tradition! The purpose of the team is to give students the opportunity to promote school spirit, encourage school and team involvement, be supportive to sports programs, encourage high standards, and develop or increase skills in dance, responsibility, leadership, and self-discipline. The Danceros are also involved with high school dance programs, such as Universal Dance Association.
Membership
The Plant High School Danceros consist of approximately 15-30 members (under coaches discretion from year-to-year). Danceros participate in both school and UDA events. Members have outstanding participation in dance practices, camps and clinics, maintain highly cooperative attitudes and follow the team’s contract. Tryouts are conducted for each season during the spring of the previous year. Dancers are selected for the Danceros based on many factors, including dance technique, performance quality, positive attitude, showmanship, and leadership qualities. Dancero members are highly recognized on campus as a performance and school spirit squad. Visit our tryout page for information.
